Reverend Lincoln Dall
I have been the pastor here at Holy Savior since July 2022. I am very happy to be the pastor of this wonderful parish!
I am originally from Chicago and am the oldest of four siblings. I am a huge Chicago Cubs fan. When I was 12 years old, my family moved from Chicago to Southern California. One interesting fact about me – my first name – Lincoln – is a common name in my family. I am the fifth person in my family with the name Lincoln, going back to the era of the Civil War. I love having that connection with my family.
I have been a priest here in the Diocese of Jackson since 2008. Prior to coming to Holy Savior, I served as pastor at St. Jude in Pearl, I served as associate pastor at St. Richard in Jackson and as pastor at St. Mary in Yazoo City, All Saints in Belzoni, and St. James in Tupelo. I also served for seven months as the interim director of temporal affairs for the Diocese. In addition to serving as pastor of Holy Savior, I will also serving as Vicar General of our Diocese.
My educational background includes a BS in accounting from Wake Forest University, a Master’s in Education from Ole Miss, and a Masters in Divinity and Masters in Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary and School of Theology in Wisconsin. In June 2019, I completed a Master’s of Science in Ecclesial Administration and Management from Catholic University in Washington DC. Prior to becoming a priest, I served as a missionary in Canada and Ecuador. I used my skill of speaking Spanish as a Spanish teacher at Greenville High School as a member of the Mississippi Teacher Corps out of Ole Miss.
I started my professional career as an auditor and CPA with a large CPA firm, which seem like a lifetime ago! I love to travel. I have been to the pilgrimage to the Camino of St James in Spain five different times. I am hoping to go again to the Camino with a group in the future.
