Save the date – Trip to Yazoo City
On Saturday, July 30, any interested parishioners and families will travel to Yazoo City to tour historic Glenwood cemetery, final resting place for the Witch of Yazoo City, Mississippi author Willie Morris, and Catholic priests and nuns who served in Yazoo City. Charlie Carlyle, historian, official cemetery guide, and good friend of Father Lincoln, will be our guide. We will have Mass together at beautiful St Mary Catholic church and will tour the downtown area. We will also have lunch together. This will be a fun outing for everyone. We will leave Clinton at about 8:00 am to travel to Yazoo City in cars. Mark the date on you calendar and plan to join us for a fun trip to this historic Mississippi town. We will be joining St. Jude Parish.
