LITURGY OF THE WEEK
FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF OUR LORD Wednesday, December 25 is the Feast of the Birth of our Savior “Christmas” – a Holy Day of obligation. The vigil Mass for the Feast will be on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m., preceded by the children’s program at 4:30 p.m. The nursery will only be available during the Christmas vigil mass. Mass for the Feast day will be at 9:00 a.m. We welcome all our parishioners and visitors to Holy Savior for the Christmas season.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM for children in Pre-K through 6th grade is December 24th. Practice will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the church with a mandatory practice on Saturday, December 21ST at 10 a.m. For more information contact Rita Haselhorst.
CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULT R.C.I.A class will continue this Tuesday, December 17th at 7:00
p.m. in the
--RE classes will conclude for Christmas this Sunday, December 15th and Wednesday December 18th. Classes will resume Sunday, January 5th and Wednesday, January 8th. We thank the parents for supporting the Religious Education Program and we especially thank the teachers for giving of their time and sharing their faith with our children. Congratulations to our 2nd graders who made the Sacrament of Reconciliation this past Wednesday.

WORLD MARRIAGE DAY is Sunday, February 9, 2014. Couples celebrating their 25th, 50th, 60th or any significant wedding anniversary in 2014, should call Julie at the Parish Office, so that you can be included in a special Mass and celebration with the bishop at St. Peter’s Cathedral. Formal invitations will be mailed in January.
PARISH EPIPHANY PARTY This is an adult’s only party which starts after the Saturday Vigil Mass on January 4th. Come and help celebrate Father Prendergast’s 80th Birthday. Parish will provide the meat so bring your favorite side dish and BYOB.
PARISH NURSERY a nursery
is available for young children (up to 4 years of age) during the 9 a.m. mass
and during Religious Education classes (9-11a.m.). Parents with young
children are encouraged to use the nursery. The nursery is located in the
CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL FLOWER ENVELOPES are available in the vestibule. Memorial contributions will be used to buy Christmas poinsettias for the church. Please return envelopes in the collection basket by December 22nd.

2014 OFFERTORY ENVELOPES this is the last weekend for registered parishioners to pick up their 2014 offertory envelopes. If you cannot find your envelope or are new to the parish, please call the parish office. All parishioners are encouraged to use their envelopes. This will make the job of the “money counters” easier. Thank you!
