LITURGY OF THE WEEK
This Thursday, November 27th is Thanksgiving Day. A Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. We invite all parishioners to attend so that we can give thanks to God for the many blessings of our lives & our nation.
Parishioners are asked to bring non-perishable goods for the 4C’s.
We wish all our parishioners and their families a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!
PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION NEWS
-- Religious Education classes will not meet this Sunday, November 23, Wednesday, November 26, or Sunday, November 30 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Classes will resume Wednesday, December 3 and Sunday, December 7.
--Final practice for the Advent Program will be November 30th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
--All parishioners are invited to the Advent program on Sunday, November 30th at 6:00 p.m. in the Church and the potluck dinner in the Parish Center. Please bring your favorite dish to share.
CYO NEWS the CYO would like to thank all parishioners who donated socks and gloves for stewpot.
NEWMAN CLUB will not meet this Sunday evening but will be joining the CYO at stewpot from 12-2.
WORLD MARRIAGE DAY is Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle. The Mass honors married couples, but especially invites couples celebrating their 25th, 50th, 60th or any significant wedding anniversary in 2015. Parishioners celebrating significant anniversaries should call Julie at the Parish Office at 601-924-6344 no later than December 30th. Formal invitations will be mailed in January.
HOLY SAVIOR ANGEL TREE the Ladies’ Auxiliary is sponsoring the Angel Tree Project again this year in conjunction with the 4C’s of Clinton. The Angel Tree provides an opportunity for parishioners to help provide Christmas gifts for disadvantaged children 12 and under. “Angels” can be taken from the Angel tree this weekend November 22-23 and next weekend Nov 29-30. Gifts should be wrapped and placed in the back of the church no later than December 13-14th.

SYMPATHY AND PRAYERS are extended to Bill and Barbara Korlath on the death of Bill’s mother, Lillie Korlath and also to Lloyd and Gwen Everhardt on the death of Lloyd’s sister, JoAnn Everhardt. May they rest in peace.
CARMELITE MONASTERY GIFT SHOP has an extensive collection of ornaments and Christmas cards as well as Advent wreaths, candles and devotionals. Christmas open house with bake sale begins Saturday, November 15th and runs thru December 21. They are open Saturday 10 – 5p.m and Sunday noon – 5p.m. During the week they are open 9 – 4 p.m.
